About

A Nashville-based Acoustic Folk Duo

Kat & Ned Sing Songs is a Nashville-based Americana folk duo known for guitar-driven acoustic sets and magical harmonies. Formed by Kathryn Dambrino (vocals) and Ned Henry (vocals, guitar, fiddle) in September 2022, their collaboration first started years earlier after being randomly paired to sing a duet for a mutual friend's wedding. They instantly experienced that rare harmonic synchronicity and blend typically only found with family members. 

A Mississippi native, Kat grew up singing with her sister in blues bars around the Delta. Since 2010, she has cared for patients as a nurse and family nurse practitioner in the US and Australia and is currently the Chair of Belmont's Doctor of Nursing Practice program. Ned previously performed with his brothers in a Nashville-based band called Brother Henry, playing shows with Guster, Jars of Clay, Dave Matthews Band, and more during the 2000s. As a studio musician, he has recorded with Ben Folds, Steve Earle, Widespread Panic, and many others. 

In collaboration with Viktor Krauss as producer, Kat & Ned Sing Songs independently released their first full album titled "The Record" on November 8, 2023, which contains 11 original songs. Their sound/style has been compared to The Civil Wars, James Taylor, Simon & Garfunkel, Fleetwood Mac, and Alison Krauss/Robert Plant.
