Kat & Ned Sing Songs is a Nashville-based musical duo known for guitar-driven acoustic sets and magical harmonies. The blend of Kat's resonant warm alto and Ned's nimble pure tenor vocals create a unique sound that feels like you're cozying up next to a warm campfire with a glass of bourbon. They have played gigs together and with larger bands in and around Nashville at venues, such as The Basement, Tennessee Brew Works, The Five Spot, and more. In addition to public performances, this duo is often booked for private parties and cocktail hours, as they know how to create the perfect chill and laid-back vibe. 

While Kat and Ned are known to perform their own renditions of well-loved yet rarely played covers, they also write and perform original songs. Sound/style influences include Simon & Garfunkel, Fleetwood Mac, The Civil Wars, First Aid Kit, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, James Taylor, The Everly Brothers, The Secret Sisters, and Alison Krauss/Robert Plant. Kat & Ned Sing Songs collaborated with Viktor Krauss (Producer) and Jared Anderson (Sound Engineer) to record their first EP titled For You, which was released on April 1, 2023. Their full album titled The Record, also recorded with Krauss as Producer and Anderson as Sound Engineer) was released Nov 8, 2023. 

Kat grew up in a musical family in North Mississippi where singing was a way of life.  Along with his brothers, Ned played in Brother Henry, a Nashville band that got some regional notoriety and airplay in the mid 2000's.  As a studio musician, Ned has recorded with Ben Folds, Steve Earle, Widespread Panic, and many others.  Kat & Ned first played together at a wedding of mutual friends.  Kat was invited to sing and Ned was asked to play violin and guitar.  They couldn't help but sing together.  When they did, they knew they had found something special.
